Support customer applications and productdevelopment to support the sales of Micrel

industrial power products.

Design, build and test custom demonstrationand reference design circuits to meet

customer specifications to support thesales of the portable power product line.

Create demonstration boards withGUIs/software which will be used by customers to

evaluate Portable Power products.

Provide input and help prototype new productdefinition.

Perform Lab test and measurement of analog/power managementcircuits.

Design and assist building application test fixtures, deviceevaluation and demo

boards including demo board instructionmanual/datasheet. This includes management of

personnel involved in printed circuitboards, acquisition of components, board assembly and

circuit troubleshooting.

“Road Test” products based on “New ProductApplications Evaluation Check List”.

Direct contact with customers and Micrel fieldapplication engineering staff for creating

design solutions and troubleshooting systemdesign problems.

Write product datasheets with applications section, applicationsnotes, design articles

and demo board manuals with all text,graphs and diagrams.

Participate in team meetings; assist productplanning team with characterization plan.

Desired Skills & Experience

We are looking for highly experiencedcandidates with experience in Power Management

Applications & Product Definition. Someof the key requirements include:

BSEE or equivalent workingexperience.

5 - 7 years experience with power management applications in thearea of board level

DC-DC applications.
