[招聘] NO.131-Sourcing Manager(Shanghai)

MAIN DUTIES
Provide strategic and tactical leadership, including Strategic Sourcing,
Supplier Management, Identifying New Suppliers, Cost Reduction to be
in line with Company Compliance Policy
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Feasibility study of cost down products and identify new suppliers
(EMS and more increasing ODM partners).
- Review the existing suppliers and identify and introduce new
suppliers.
- Promote localization - sourcing suppliers within China.
- Plan and implement Cost Reduction initiatives shortly.
- Work closely with Kunshan SQM (Supplier Quality Management)
team to achieve the on time delivery, lowest cost and the top
quality.
- Help to expand the roles/ responsibilities in China SCM team, along
the way SCM operation functions has been shifting to China.
- Ensure that the product is launched within the set budget and time
frame
PERFORMANCE TARGETS
- Obtain good understanding of the Company’s business
model/operation, product knowledge and establish excellent
communication channel within SCM teams regionally.
- Be involved immediately in several on-going projects and handle
price negotiation with suppliers and other initiatives.
KEY PERFORMANCE INDICATORS
- Achievement of the Target Cost
- Choice of suppliers and their performance
- Lump up stability (achievement of milestone of time to market, cost
and schedule).

REQUIREMENTS
BACKGROUND :
- At least 5-10 years of related working experience in procurement /
sourcing / engineering or product planning field in own brand or
EMS environment (5 years sourcing experience at least).
- Solid working experience in a project team, working with other
project members and influencing them effectively.
- University Degree of any discipline (Engineering, Technical
background is preferred).
- Working experience in EMS would a plus.
KNOWLEDGE / SKILL:
- Strong communication skills in English, Japanese, Chinese.
Both English and Japanese in business level would be a plus.
- Good understanding of Engineering aspects and components (ie.
Plastic, PCB and IC)
- High-level interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to
influence and balance business and cross-functional working
relationships
- Strong negotiation and Problem Solving skill.

ahead and plan over the mid- to long-term time frames

yet hands-on and possesses strong tactical implementation skills.

DIMENSION(JOB SIZE)
- Responsible for global procurement / sourcing particularly from
China and Taiwan with the annual purchase value of USD 200
million, 2 million units for branded parts and 1 million units for
components with average 20% increase in value, to supply for 5
region demands globally.
- Dealing with about 10 EMS suppliers currently (re-selecting and
increasing more).
- Sourcing Parts for Plastic Molding, PCB and LCD related
components.
TERRITORIAL COVERAGE
Service Global markets and source mainly in China and Taiwan.
TRAVELING
Frequent travels within Taiwan, China, Japan and occasionally to other
locations.
