Responsibilities:

l Promote and sell Liebherr-Aerospace products and services;

l Collect market information, detailed research the business opportunity and demands;

l Analyze the aviation maintenance industry, especially aircraft engineering;

l Spares management and its practices and procedures;

l Define sales targets and budgets in cooperation with the management;

l Build up and maintain strong relationship with key customers;

l Communicate with customers and understand specific needs and expectations and feedback with the commercial department;

l Respond rapidly to customer inquiries, relay information and properly document the correspondence;

l Prepare business review presentations to customers;

l Perform any other duties and responsibilities as assigned by the management.

  

  

Requirements:

l A Bachelor's degree with at least 6 years of airline operation, MRO business , sales /customer service experience;

l Engineering graduate preferably in aircraft mechanical engineering ;

l Ability to explore and understand customer expectations and requirements;

l Negotiation skills, flexibility and winning attitude;

l Positive work attitude, very good communication skills, and honest;

l Self-confident and good presentation skills and ability to make clear statements;

Liebherr-Aerospace introduction

In the Aerospace domain, Liebherr supplies aircraft air management, flight control and actuation systems, hydraulic and landing gears systems. Our systems are on board of many aircraft programs: Commercial transport aircraft, commuter and regional aircraft, business jets, fighters, military transport, trainer aircraft as well as civil and military helicopters.

Aircraft are equipped with several systems that process and accommodate air through all usages needed aboard. Among those systems are to be found in particular for air management:

  

     Engine bleed air;

     Air conditioning;

     Cabin pressure control;

     Ventilation control;

     Wing and nacelle anti-ice;

     Additional cooling of avionics, galleys and hydraulics;

     Humidification and dryer.

  

In some cases, aircraft manufacturers award the supply of all these systems to one company through a single work package. Besides logistics advantages, this approach brings along considerable performance optimization possibilities.

Integrated air management systems consist of several hundreds of parts located all across the aircraft (engine, nacelle, pylon, wing, belly fairing, fuselage, cockpit, cabin, tail core) that process all air circulation within the aircraft from the engine bleed port to the cabin.
Liebherr is currently the most experienced system supplier of such kind of integrated air management systems. Experience is ranging from commercial aircraft to helicopters and business jets.

Liebherr-Aerospace in China: Air Systems Development Team introduction

Since 10 years, Liebherr-Aerospace Toulouse has developed in China a team to support on-going programs, and new acquisitions:

  

     Business development & marketing support for Liebherr-Aerospace Toulouse;

     Development, liaison engineering and support to Final Assembly line activities at the customer (COMAC, Airbus etc.) facilities (or at local Liebherr facility) in China, for Liebherr-Aerospace Toulouse;

     Designs follow up on Integrated Air Systems (Engine Bleed Air, Air Conditioning, Wing Ice Protection, Cabin Air Distribution, and Cabin Pressure Control Systems) for developments in China: COMAC C919, ARJ-21 Aircraft development program.

  

  

This supporting team is part of Liebherr Machinery Service (Shanghai) and located in Shanghai, Nanjing & Xian.

  

Context of the Job:

     Support to Final Assembly line & Flight Tests activities at the customers (Airbus A320, COMAC ARJ21, COMAC C919 etc.) facilities or at Liebherr facility (Liebherr Machinery Service (Shanghai)) in China, for Liebherr-Aerospace.

  

Mission :

     Work with the customers throughout the whole process of parts delivery, inspection and installation on aircrafts.

     Report quality and transportation issues to Liebherr-Aerospace Toulouse.

     Support the on-aircraft tests after installation (on ground).

     Work with the Liebherr Teams to support the flight tests campaign. This includes coordination with the customer to obtain flight test plan, flight test schedule, flight tests data.

     Ensure technical liaison between the Liebherr Toulouse & Shanghai based teams and the customers for Integrated Air Management Systems, for all activities located at the customer premises.

     Collect all technical inputs from Liebherr

     Aerospace Toulouse & Shanghai, and ensure adequate communication of the information to the customer.

     Present technical data, ensure actions completion, liaise with all necessary customer entities to ensure completion of the action in the program schedule, as instructed by Liebherr-Aerospace Toulouse.

     Analyse issues, and propose technical solutions in ad equation with development strategy of the project, as instructed by the Liebherr-Aerospace Toulouse program team.

     Organize what is needed for a regular and excellent communication between the customer, and Liebherr

     Aerospace Toulouse: conference call, ECM, Email,etc.

     Support meetings, and presentations when Liebherr

     Aerospace Toulouse personnel is located at the customer facilities.

     Regularly verify satisfaction of final customer or to inform Liebherr-erospace Toulouse if any trouble.

     Follow technical exchanges between the customers and Liebherr

     Aerospace Toulouse in order to be able to identify misunderstanding, problems and risks and quickly inform both companies.

     Follow action list and verify respect of closure dates for open items.

     Respect and enforce quality procedures of aeronautical development work.

  

  

Required Skills :

     A/C maintenance experience, with minimum 3 years;

     Fluent English;

     Ability to work in different location in Shanghai (Daxian, Pudong etc.);

     Ability to travel in China (Tianjin, Xian, etc.) and Europe (Toulouse, Lindenberg);

     Cross culture knowledge is a plus;

     Bachelor degree, major in aeronautics is a plus.

  

Reporting :

     Direct reporting to the Air Development System Team Manager of Liebherr Machinery Service (Sanghai);

     Functional reporting to engineering project leaders, sales quality manager, sales administration manager & program managers of Liebherr-Aerospace Toulouse.
