KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
-Lead video product system and algorithm development
-Understand the existing video decoder IP core and develop advanced video decoding algorithm to improve video quality and performance for our next generation SoC product
-Establish computer simulation model for next generation video decoder IP core
-Work with asic team to bring advanced video processing algorithms from theory to hardware implementation
-Work with FW engineers to optimize chip video performance and mitigate hardware bugs.
Experience - External:
REQUIREMENTS
-MSEE or equivalent
-4+ years working experience in digital video algorithm development
-Knowledge of Analog video codec and standards including NTSC and PAL
-Working knowledge about digital video synchronization, motion detection, estimation and compensation
-Understand real time video processing and design tradeoff between performance and hardware complexity
-Strong programming skill in C/C++ and Matlab
-Familiar with logic design and verilog
-Good oral and written English with good communication skills
