Responsibilities
1. Provides Asia Subcontractor process engineering support for sensor back end manufacturing. Includes new process introduction, training, yield and quality improvement;
2. Understands and documents subcontractor processes;
3. Provides initial process documents and onsite training for new subcontractors;
4. On site failure analysis leading to machine / process improvement;
5. Monitor subcontractor yields with onsite support for improvement;
6. Monitor subcontractor reliability conformance;
7. Assists subcontractor with material selections;
8. Assists subcontractor with material layout design;
9. Assist with new process development.
Mandatory Skills
1. Touch display technology materials and mechanics familiarity;
2. Failure analysis skills;
3. Electrical trouble shooting, use of simple lab equipment.
Preferred Skills
Knowledge of statistics
Programming skills
Education
Master or PhD in Materials Science, Physics, or Chemistry
Experience: At least 5 years or above
