SoC Backend Specialist
　　
　　Job Description
　　
　　• Takes responsibility in performing backend related tasks in asic vendor design approaches.
　　• Participating in ASIC architecture definition defining hierarchical block level, clock and reset trees and test structures.
　　• Specifies interface types and characteristics including external.
　　• Defines power aware rule sets based on vendor libraries.
　　• Participating in reviews of functional and design specification for SoC (ASIC)
　　• Performs power estimations on block and ASIC level.
　　• Performs sanity, design rule and lint checks on RTL.
　　• Participates in ASIC package design definition and performs high speed interface verification.
　　• Performs block level and ASIC level synthesis including physical constraints and placements.
　　• Verifies RTL against pre and post layout netlists using formal verification tools.
　　• Runs static timing analysis on post-layout netlists and verifies timing closure.
　　• Interfaces to vendor and follows up NSN and vendor related processes.
　　• Documents backend related tasks according process, project plan and vendor specific agreements.
　　• Support HW/SW bring-up and debugging.
　　• Cooperate with system, design and verification engineers to maximize quality.
　　
　　Job Requirements:
　　
　　SoC development & Methodology
　　
　　• 5+ years of SoC (ASIC) backend experience.
　　• Excellent Vhdl/verilog knowhow and many years of scripting and coding experience.
　　• Complete understanding of the SoC (ASIC) design flow and process.
　　• Knowledge of SoC (ASIC/FPGA) design, verification and backend tools.
　　• Knowledge of state of the art design challenges in technologies below 40nm.
　　• Strong background in Analog/digital CMOS technologies and high speed interface designs.

　　• Solid background in wired and wireless telecommunication networks.
　　• Knowledge of the diverse controller, power and timing solutions for different telecommunication applications.
　　
　　Experience
　　• 5+ years experience in the R&D of IC industry.
　　
　　Skills
　　• Innovative thinking and team working spirit.
　　• Be initiative, ability to analyze and learn
　　• Trouble shooting by anticipating of problems and preparing solutions
　　• Ability to understand and handle bigger entities and dependencies between them
　　• High team and result orientation are required.
　　• Client interfacing, presentation and interpersonal skills are necessary.
　　• Know how to share knowledge with other colleagues.
　　
　　Foreign Language:
　　• Excellent spoken and written English.
　　• Speaking and writing skills in Chinese are beneficial.
　　
　　Education:
　　• Master of Science (Electrical Engineering) or similar.
