IC616 install error, ask for help

chpl

new debian 7.8.0 virtual machine. so i need to type in english..
i installed IC616 by iscape 04.23.

and .bashrc file's content:

export OA_HOME=/home/chpl/cadence/installs/IC616/oa_v22.43.018
export CDS_ROOT=/home/chpl/cadence/installs/IC616
export CDS_LIC_FILE=5288@yebian

but it don't work normally and give me these:

WARNING: HOST <yebian> DOES NOT APPEAR TO BE A CADENCE SUPPORTED LINUX CONFIGURATION.

it takes me a whole day and i don't want another..

It looks like IC616 does not support the debian OS, RHEL 5/6 is recommended.

或者
export OA_UNSUPPORTED_PLAT=linux_rhel50_gcc44x

sorry for reply lately.

I changed platform to fedora 22, redownload IC616, added

export OA_UNSUPPORTED_PLAT="linux_rhel50_gcc44x"
export CDS_LIC_FILE="5288@yedora"
export OA_HOME="/home/chpl/cadence/installs/IC616/oa_v22.43.018"

to my .bashrc, installed some library and launched it..

then I saw the possibly last error

*ERROR* (DB-320001): Unable to get the Cadence(R) Design Framework II license feature "111".

I had tried re-patch the installation, which didn't work.
the another method is edit license.dat file, but I can't find it...

I am sorry for reply so lately.

I changed platform to Fedora 22, re-download IC616 and installed, edited my .bashrc file, patched,and installed some library files.
export OA_UNSUPPORTED_PLAT="linux_rhel50_gcc44x"
export CDS_LIC_FILE="5288@yedora"
export OA_HOME="/home/chpl/cadence/installs/IC616/oa_v22.43.018"

I thought I am almost finish, but there is an error block me:
*ERROR* (DB-320001): Unable to get the Cadence(R) Design Framework II license feature "111".

I tried re-patching installation, whereas no effect.....

Hi chpl,

    1. Please check the license manager has started first?
    2. After then, try the attached patch code of the following posts:

i changed .bashrc file's content

export CDS_LIC_FILE="5288@yedora"
to
export LM_LICENSE_FILE=$CDS_HOME/IC616/share/license/license.dat

and the license.dat file is based on this post(http://bbs.eetop.cn/thread-470308-1-1.html)
after delete USER SERVER line and ############ line in the license file and launched lic_config in IC616/share/license folder some times.
it is no error now~~~~~~
