I am not familiar with HFSS. You may check your result in this way:
your measurement is GainTotal. I think that you measure the (radiated power/ input power)
If my guess is correct, the gain equation should include antenna gain and antenna return loss.
You may check the antenna input reflection whether it is < -15dB or not.
In most case, the loss is due to input mis-match.
