MMSIM12.10的patch包

First of all, I have IC610 on Ubuntu 10.04 and mmsim base version is installed; after that, hotfix version onto it. But, I cannot simulate designs. Error is in CIW window "Problems encountered during simulation Use the simulation->Output Log menu for more information" and there is no log file available.

After install, do I need to do patch for 64 bit version? Thanks.

Oops... Actually your Ubuntu version is a little bit outdated for me, adding on you didn't specify your problem quite clearly, I have no idea about how to solve your problem, sorry for that.
Also, from my point of view, the problem you mentioned has not so much connection with the issue of whether you need to patch for 64 bit version or not. But after installation, it's necessary to patch your mmsim before instant use. As for the choice of 32 or 64-bit patch depends on your system.
The last but not least thing is, it's quite weird that you cannot find a log file. Please check the path again, if you can't get access to the log, you will not know what's the matter with your IC software.

这……兄台，我不敢保证这个patch的跨版本通用性。不过，在您那如果不能用的话，能否将您遇到的问题分享一下，顺便让大家看看是怎么回事，没准就能有问题的解决方案呢？

看patch的log，已经对包里的软件打了patch了，但使用时拿不到license。

spectre log

不知道为什么拿不到license
lmgrd 和cdslmd 版本都是V11.7的。MMSIM12里面的cdslmd是V11.10的(看log未打上patch)，以前的MMSIM12.10版虽然cdslmd是V11.10（也未打上patch），但是是可以用的。

不知兄台的环境变量是如何设置的？我觉得有没有可能是license的环境变量设置问题（即把mmsim和ic的license配置在了同一个目录下）导致了mmsim调用license时出了问题呢？

  我觉得可能性不太大，因为我在尝试两个版本MMSIM时除去MMSIM_HOME的环境变量不同外，其余的环境变量都是相同的。 LICENSE设置如下：
   MMSIM和IC的LICENSE在同一个文件内，该文件名为：license.dat(端口5280，机器名a)
   启动license：lmgrd -a -c license.dat > license.log
   设置 CDS_LIC_FILE 和LM_LICENSE_FILE 为 5280@a

  先使用早一点版本的MMSIM跑仿真是OK的，然后再使用12.11版本的MMSIM跑仿真，license log显示如前面楼层所述。
