I am also interested to use the Sata core from opencores .I have a project to design a data encription unit for magnetic Storage .And i also looking for a good FPGA part .I have been looking at the Lattice FPGA. It is a very cheap part and it has very fast SERDES . I just bought the LatticeECP3 Versa kit .

thank you !my boss ask me to research the FC-AE part of the project first. my project maybe use a raid cad which is based on PCI-E interface.The detail of it has not been decided.Mre communication please!

SATA 600MB/s 的速度不是差不多就是5Gb/s ？

SATA接口是有600MBps的，但是硬盘的读取速率却不好达到这个速度，目前初步的想法是使用一个磁盘阵列卡用多个硬盘来达到这个速度，不过对于这个阵列的管理还不是很清晰。
