前言：

本书源自我本人在盐湖城社区学院对大一工程专业学生讲授MATLAB与其它计算机语言的教学经历。盖因教学缺乏一本“从头开始”的教材，这曾经让我沮丧不已。尽管有众多详尽的参考书籍，但这些参考书籍均假定读者具有学生们不曾具备的某种程度的数学素养与计算机素养。此外，由于信号处理与电气工程领域的从业者们最早采用了MATLAB，因此，大部分这类教材提供了源自这些领域的各种案例，不过这种讲解方法并不能与通常的工程课程相适配。本教材从基本代数开始，讲授MATLAB如何可以被用来求解各种不同学科的工程问题。本书中的各种案例取自在前年级物理与化学课程介绍的各种概念、取自大一新生和高年级学生们的各种工程课程。本书从头至尾采用标准的求解问题方法。


版本亮点
