Job Description：

• We are looking for an experienced Application Engineer for virtualization of automotive systems: You will be using our tools to help customer engineers to transfer their work from hardware-based development tools (HiLs, test rigs, PiLs,...) into the virtual world. You are their guide and support into the age of simulation-driven development and validation of highly complex technical systems. You will enable productivity growth of teams and departments with virtualization technology to ensure customers can meet their challenging quality and time-to-market goals.
• In this role you will partner with sales and customer technical leaders to identify business challenges, develop effective technical solutions for new accounts and increase utilization and retention of products on current accounts. Typical activities include product demonstrations, evaluations, training, support for product usage, and tracking of issues reported by customer. Additionally, you will provide inputs to R&D to enhance our products and promote Synopsys technology in trade shows and seminars.
  

Job Requirements:

.•     Thorough understanding of the automotive SW development process, tool chains and ECU architectures

Job Description：

This role is for the Applications Engineering team which provides technical support to SLM customers. You will work alongside R&D, marketing and sales team to enable customers onto the SLM platform. To be effective in the role, you will need to have a high degree of semiconductor technical knowledge and the ability to interact at all levels with both internal and external stakeholders. You will be empowered for ensuring the appropriate support and timely solutions are provided to our customers, whilst maintaining world class customer support.

Responsibilities include:

• Being the support focal point for customers and having the direct responsibility for  the full cycle of support communications between Synopsys and its customer.
• Supporting various internal teams with technical knowledge of the available products and associated services.
• Running simulations and verification in order to to assist in debugging customer     issues.
• Analysing and processing silicon data from various sources and comparing against simulation data.
• Running layout tools and reviewing DRC violations reported by customers.
• Review and recommend, as part of continuous improvement, internal technical documentation to support the integration and the use of the available products to customers. This includes preparing specification databooks,  application notes, internal technical reports and guidelines that will accompany the product documentation.

Having strong semiconductor skills within one or more of the following areas:      

- analogue circuit design (including the use of Synopsys and Cadence design     tools)

Pre-Sale Position:

• Discussing with customer on their application and SoC design, Capturing and understanding their design requirements for Interface IP, Preparing IP technical solution with BU R&D to meet the requirements, Co-working with customer to update SoC micro-architecture based on the IP solution
• Studying high speed interface protocol update, joining IP product update training and technical conference, and deepening expertise on Interface IP by systematic learning and hands-on IP practice as configuration, synthesis and verification

• Supporting and partnering with Sales and customer leaders to identify business challenges and opportunities and develop strategic solutions for increasing utilization and retention of Synopsys products.

• Working directly with customers to gain a full understanding of their issues and expectations from the competitive climate. Helping customers to resolve critical technical issues and boost productivity with Synopsys’s advanced technologies and solutions.

Key qualifications:
