We are now looking for a Full-stack webapplications software architect to join our Hardware Infrastructure team! Ourteam is building new infrastructure to deliver highly available services to runscalable web services, development environments, repositories, databases, datastreams, and data visualization frameworks. This software development team is amultifaceted Agile software team with high production quality standards,producing tools used by engineering across the company for tracking, triagingand debugging various kinds of data processing flows. We are looking formotivated engineers to build and maintain a new generation of infrastructurethat will host these services.

What you’ll be doing:

·      Working on backend andfrontend design and development of web applications.

·      Collecting requirements andprovide consultation to end users about their needs and use cases.

·      Analyzing performancebottlenecks.

·      Supporting and maintaininglarge scale data platform with high QoS.

·      Building infrastructure andmicroservices for various big-data scenarios.

What we need to see:

·      5+ years work experience and adegree from university in an engineering or computer science related discipline(BS; MS or PhD preferred)

·      Proven knowledge of JavaLanguage, common Java API's and JVM.

·      Experience with Javascriptand Node.js

·      Experience with design anddevelopment of distributed microservices.

·      In depth understanding oflocking, multi-threading and database concepts.

·      Detailed knowledge of objectoriented design, data structures and algorithms

·      Excellent interpersonalskills

Ways to stand out from the crowd:

·       Demonstrable knowledge ofElastic Stack (Elasticsearch, Kibana, Logstash) and Kafka.

·       Experience with SQL and atleast one SQL database server.

·       Experience with Jenkinsand/or Confluence plugin framework

·       Background with MongoDB,Hadoop and Spark

·       Knowledge of JavaScriptframeworks like Ember.js, React.js

·       Knowledge of Python or Golang

·       Flexibility/adaptability for working in a vibrant environmentwith different frameworks and requirements.
