DSP Engineer

Job description

Responsiblefor system-level fixed-function DSP data path architecture, design andimplementation of highspeed network communication ICs products, including the followingactivities:

Developing andoptimizing digital communication system models including impairments.

·
Developing andoptimizing error correction coding systems employing codes such as Reed-Solomonand convolutional codes.

Qualifications:

·
Master’sdegree with 5 year’s experience, or PhD degree with 3 year’s experience

·
Solid digitalcommunication theory background

·
Experiencedeveloping DSP-based communication systems

·
Familiaritywith digital communication systems channel modeling

·
Gooddocumentation skills

·
Experience indeveloping system models

·
Respect forprocess and methodology

·
Proficiency inMATLAB / C

PreferredQualifications:

·
Understandingof Ethernet or Optical Communication system is desired

·
Understandingof coding theory (LDPC, Reed-Solomon, BCH) and its application

·
Excellentwritten and oral communication skills
