Position 1. Designers (3 persons)
Qualifications / Experience Required:
o Development experience (design, implementation, test and integration) of digital hardware
o Ensuring quality design through design, simulations and test
o Produce design documentation
o Be able to interact with a multi-disciplinary team to ensure a high quality design and seamless integration
o Have strong communications, interpersonal, and analytic skills  
Skills and Performance Dimensions / Education::
o B.Sc. in Electrical Engineering
o High speed digital design knowledge with some proven experience
o Strong knowledge of EMC theory, containment strategies and techniques would be an asset
o Experience with Cadence Concept and Allegro tools would be an asset
o Extensive experience in the use of lab equipment such as scopes, logic analyzers, pattern generators, etc.
o Experience with Unix and Windows 95/NT operating systems
o Experience with programmable logic design and tools would be a definite asset
o Knowledge of CDMA/UMTS theory & operating principles would be a definite asset
o Assembly and C/C++ knowledge would be an asset

Position 2: Senior Board Designer (1 person)
Qualifications / Experience Required:
o Min 7 years development experience (design, implementation, and test) of digital hardware for new products within a wireless of high speed product line
o Ensuring quality design through design, simulations and test
o Produce, review and approve design documentation
o Be able to interact with a large, sometimes remote, multi-disciplinary team to ensure a high quality design and seamless integration
o Have strong communications, interpersonal, and analytic skills  
o Prepared to travel
o Fluent in English
Skills and Performance Dimensions / Education::
o B.Sc. in Electrical Engineering
o High speed digital design knowledge with min 7 years experience
o Strong knowledge of EMC theory, containment strategies and techniques
o Experience with Cadence Concept and Allegro tools
o Experience with PCP level simulation tools (Spice, SpectraQuest etc.)
o Extensive experience in the use of lab equipment such as scopes, logic analyzers, pattern generators, etc.
o Experience with Unix and Windows 95/NT operating systems
o Experience with programmable logic design and tools would be a definite asset
o Knowledge of CDMA/UMTS theory & operating principles would be a definite asset
o Assembly and C/C++ knowledge would be an asset
