1.   SoftwareEngineer II -- Library Characterization


      Position Description:     

Ø
Thepositions are for a developer who will be responsible for designing,implementing, and maintaining library characterization and validation softwarefor use with standard cells, memory and macro blocks, and IO cells


       PositionRequirements:

Ø
Thecandidates should have two or more years of experiences in developing EDAsoftware.

Ø
Mustbe proficient in C, C++, TCL, and development in Linux/Unix.

Ø
Knowledgeon semiconductor device is strong plus.

Ø
Experiencewith SPICE or SPICE like circuit simulation is important.

Ø
Knowledgeof Verilog and VHDL is also highly desirable.

Ø
Havea good understanding of library characterization, IP design, static timinganalysis, power analysis and signal integrity analysis flows.

Ø
MinimumEducation Required / Minimum Experience Required : MS, EE, CS, Math or Physics



2.   Lead SoftwareEngineer / Software Engineer II -- Spectre XPS Product


      Position Description:     

Ø
Thisis a software engineer position for Cadence Spectre XPS product. Spectre XPS isa new fastSPICE simulator which delivers up to 10X faster simulationthroughput, and has high visibility among the company. The Beijing team isplaying a critical role in the rapid development of Spectre XPS. In thisposition you will need to design, implement and troubleshoot Spectre XPS. Youwill also need to understand customer requirements, define functionalspecifications, debug customer cases and investigate simulation algorithms. Youshould be able to work independently and communicate with colleagues andcustomers.


       PositionRequirements:

Ø
PhDmajored in CS/EE or related, or MS with 3+ years of relevant experience.

Ø
StrongC/C++ programming skills under Linux/Unix environment.

Ø
Solidunderstanding of data structures and algorithms; understanding of graph andnumerical algorithms is a plus.

Ø
Knowledgeon semiconductor devices and circuits and SPICE simulators is a strong plus.

Ø
Goodproblem solving skills and strong desire to learn new techniques.

Ø
GoodEnglish communication skills both verbally and writing.

3.   Lead SoftwareEngineer / Software Engineer II --
SimulatorFront-end

      

      PositionDescription:      

Ø
Researchand design simulator front end

  

      PositionRequirements:

Ø
StrongC++ programming and familiarity with development under Linux/Unix environment.

Ø
Proficiencywith linux/unix tools.

Ø
Skillsin one or more of script such as Python, Perl.

Ø
Familiarwith build and version-control systems.

Ø
GoodEnglish communication skill both verbally and writing.

Ø
Goodproblem solving skill and team work spirit.

4.   SoftwareEngineer II for RF simulator

  

      PositionDescription:

Ø
Theposition is responsible for designing, implementing and maintaining softwareand algorithms related to advanced

analysis and simulationtools used in the development of VLSI circuits and RF communication systems.The engineer will be responsible for leading multiple development effortsthrough the complete design cycle and working with a cross-functional team toensure the software is tested, integrated and documented.

  

      PositionRequirements:

Ø
Skilledin C++ programming, familiar with development under Linux/Unix environment;

Ø
GoodEnglish communication skills both verbal and written

Ø
Goodproblem solving skill and ability to work in a team environment

Ø
Educationalrequirement is an MS or above in electrical, mechanical, or computerengineering; computer science, or applied mathematics.  Candidate shouldhave exposure to and interest in algorithmically-intensive softwaredevelopment.


Ø
Backgroundin one or more computational science areas is a strong plus:  VLSI circuitsimulation, numerical analysis, numerical linear algebra, parallel algorithms.
