is working on cutting-edge Digital and Mixed-signal IP development for worldwide clients, including High Speed Serial Links, Protocols, Memory Interface, etc. By employing the industry leading tools, state of the art methodology, and innovative semiconductor leading technologies ranging from 32nm to 14nm and beyond, you will be participating in the front-end logic verification or mixed signal verification.

Requirements:

ME/EE/CS or background in related areas.

Research and/or development experience in one or more of the following areas:

Logic verification on the basis of the target system specification

Mixed-signal model verification on advanced technologies

Proficiency in programming and/or scripting languages is a plus

Knowledge on Protocols, High Speed Serdes or DDR is a plus



Experience in one or more of the following application domains, is a plus

High performance computing system, processor, chipset and ASICs

High end communication, networking, mobile and data center applications

Digital signal processing, sensor and Internet of Things

Other emerging IT technology and industry areas



Good English skills, communication skills, and willingness to work with a global team. Skill in other languages is a plus.

职位描述：

Field Application Engineering is responsible for understanding customer's business and organization. Has familiarity with customer's system product roadmap, technology requirements, development environment and applicable industry standards. Also to understands broader market directions and competitive trends.



This team is located in Shanghai, China. This team co-worked with a highly skilled team with diverse and extensive expertise in the US.



Responsibilities:



- Acts as the primary technical interface between the customer and development engineering teams throughout the sales cycle. Conducts frequent meetings and technical negotiations at the local and international level to analyze customer requirements.

- Develops creative solutions to remedy technical problems with minimum impact on customer's time-to-market. Initiates process and product improvements within GLOBALFOUNDRIES and the customer's organizations to avoid future problem occurrences.

- Leads all technical engagements with GLOBALFOUNDRIES customers in area of responsibility, from the early identification of an opportunity to the successful ramp-up of system production.

- Accountable for Design Win, Tape-out Revenue and Customer Satisfaction in the assigned territory.



Requirements:



1. Master/Ph.D with EE, Microelectronics or Computer Engineering related background.

2. Min 5 years of relevant experience in Semicon industry) in related design, semiconductor technology/process development or CAD/Industry Design Tools Application areas.

3. Good Knowledge in one or more of the following semiconductor industry related fields:

- Advanced Semiconductor Technology/Processing/Modeling: SiGe, Bulk CMOS, BiCMOS, SOI or technologies.

- High Performance RF/Analog, Digital/SOC Custom and Mixed-Signal Circuit design, simulation, verification, testing and evaluation.

- CAD/Industry Design Tools Development or Application experience.

- Electrostatic Discharges (ESD) protection design.

4. Knowledge/Experience in one or more of the following application domains, will be a plus:

- Communication and wireless applications

- Digital media, audio/video applications

- Consumer electronics applications

- Automotive electronics applications

- Other emerging technology and industry areas

5. English fluent, Good communication/Problem Solving skill and willingness to work within a global team.

6. Good learning competency, self-motivation, and be able to work on diverse areas in a flexible environment.


7. Strong technical leadership will be important consideration for senior positions.
