In this position, you will serve as the AMD GFX platform debug expert on technical issues to support end-to-end platform issue, which includes both AMD reference platforms and customer product platforms. You will provide technical leadership for AMD GFX product enablement on customer platform from product design, prototype, bring-up to final production phase.

The responsibility of this position includes
- System level debug & triage support on AMD new silicon bring-up by working closely with ASIC design, platform, and software team.
- Fast turnaround on issue triage for AMD OEM/ODM customer platform support for both software and hardware issues.
- Enabling/training OEM, ODM customers on silicon validation, debug technologies and new platform technologies.
- Customer on-site support for board bring-up, debug and manufacturing.

Qualifications for ideal candidate includes
- BS or MS in Computer Science or Electrical Engineering, with minimum 3 years work experience
- Good team player with strong problem solving and multitasking skills, effective and can-do attitude.
- In-depth technical knowledge on X86 architect and/or one or more hardware/software technology, such as system power management, PCIe, Graphics, etc.
- Experience with software debugging and related tool such as WinDbg in an x86 architecture in both kernel & user modes is required
- Silicon bring-up experience is preferred
- Experience on SOC validation and debug a plus.
- Working knowledge on post-silicon debug and validation tools from Agilent, Tektronix, LeCroy and Intel.
- Experience on develop, coordinate, monitor, facilitate and execute cross-corporate, cross-team engagement plans a plus.
- Experience in business engagements with outside companies and customers / partners a strong plus.
- Written and verbal communication skills in English.
