Principal Application Engineer - IP  (AMS) –工作地点：上海

Position Description:

1) Providing directtechnical support to customers in presale stage to persuade customers to adoptCadence AMS IP solutions for their applications

2) Interface withcustomer architects and AMS IP business unit to enable evaluation ofapplication specific IP performance and features per customer’s SOCrequirements.

3) Working with the salesteam to manage the IP activities in the region to achieve a high customersatisfaction rate and for building strong customer relationships

4) Providing customerfeedback on new/existing requirements for AMS IP usage from customers to theR&D business unit.

5) Providing direct technicalcustomer support and assistance to enable customers to successfullyintegrate/use AMS IP in their SOC.

6) Writing applicationnotes and review protocol specifications for AMS IP. Knowledge of digitalcontrollers is a plus (MIPI controllers such as digiRF, UFS)

Position Requirements:

1) Experience in AMSdesign and architecture development.

2) Experience with SOCarchitecture and high speed protocols.

3) Exposure to IP-basedSOC design flow and real tape-out experience.

4) Good written and verbalcommunication skills and problem solving skills are required.

5) Ability to conducttechnical meetings, presentations, seminars and training to customers and tothe sales team

6) Travel within APregion may be required.

7) Good understanding ofthe semiconductor IP marketplace and ecosystem is a plus.
