In this position, the candidate will be responsible for developing middleware for multimedia player, hardware abstraction layer(HAL) for hardware video/audio decoder/processer and maintain android multimedia frameworks. The candidate will be responsible for deliver qualified software on schedule.
1. You will be a member of team working for Multimedia framework.
2. You will communicate with customer to get clear requirement input.
3. You will be responsible for design, develop, integrate and delivery qualified features of the system on schedule.
4. You will work with hardware, driver, UI engineers to get feature ready.
5. You will be responsible to bug fix to get system stable.
6. You will be responsible for identify root cause for problems reported by SQA or customers.
The candidates meet multiple items as below will be preferred:
1. A Bachelor degree or Master degree in Electrical Engineering or Computer Science
2. Good written and oral communications skills in English
3. 1+ years working with Linux system
4. 1+ years experience of embedded software programming. The candidates with C/C++ for multimedia products such as smartphone/tablet in technologies will be preferred
5. Experience with Android
6. Experience of video, audio codecs, such as H.264/mpeg4/aac/ac3
