Job description:

Provides primarily pre-sales technical support for thedevelopment and implementation of complex products/applications/solutions. Usesin-depth product knowledge to provide technical expertise to sales staff andthe customer through sales presentations and product demonstrations.  Assists the sales staff in assessingpotential application of company products to meet customer needs and preparingdetailed product specifications for the development and implementation of customerapplications/solutions.  May createdetailed design and implementation specifications for complexproducts/applications/systems. May build a mini-application based on customerrequirements to demonstrate feasibility of the application, often requiringrapid prototyping and/or product demo for client. May provide consultation toprospective users and/or product capability assessment and validation.  May also provide post-sales technical supportfor implementation, training, and maintenance of companyproducts/applications/solutions.

Job requirement:

Understands and explains related technical issues, knowledgeof company products and all potential applications. Has a working knowledge ofone or more programming languages. Has effective communication skills.Excellent customer interface, negotiation communication, and planning skillsare required. Leads and manages complex tasks to achieve timely completionconsistent with program schedule and cost constraints.

Typically requires a minimum of 2 years of relatedexperience with master degree and 5 years working experience with bachelordegree. Developing professional expertise, applies company policies andprocedures to resolve a variety of issues. Has working knowledge of work areaand general proficiency with tools, systems, and procedures required toaccomplish the job. Exercises judgment within defined procedures and practicesto determine appropriate action. Receives general instructions on routine work,detailed instructions on new assignments. Implementations and solutions arereviewed for accuracy and overall adequacy. Builds productive internal/externalworking relationships. Contacts are primarily within business unit andoccasional organizational and external customer contacts on routine matters.

A person with ICC P&R experience is a plus.
