Title: Software Engineer/Sr. Software Engineer Department：Video Location:Shanghai Description: Responsible for multimedia system low level firmware and driver development, optimization and maintenance. Work with US team in silicon verification. Support local or international teams in middleware and application porting and system level issue resolving. Qualifications: 1.Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science or equivalent, M.S. preferred. 2.2+ years experience in firmware/software development for embedded system. 3.Proficiency in C/C++, experience in assembly language programming. 4.Strong commitment to deliver high quality software on schedule. 5.Team player and good communication skills in verbal and written English. 6.Hardworking and willing to work overtime for urgent task. Hands on experience in the following items will be a plus: 1.Demux, multimedia containers, MPEG2 TS/PS, DVB, ATSC. 2.Content protection, DRM schemes, cryptography algorithms, Conditional Access systems. 3.HDTV, STB, PVR software development. 4.Blu-ray, DVD, multimedia file playback. 5.Embedded Linux driver development.
