Job Description:

Software application engineer need co-work with other members to develop multimedia solution on Marvell embedded platform, include developing video encoder/decoder, middleware component, integrating into android system, enhancing multimedia feature, improving system to get much better user experience and solving customer issues.

The qualified candidate should have MS or BS degree in the discipline of computer science, electronic engineering or related fields. Have 3+ years of consumer multimedia/video product experience, strong programming and debugging skills and experience in embedded systems. Also requires strong communication skills, self motivation, good team work spirit, and willing to take travel for customer onsite support.

Qualifications:

- BS or MS in EE, CE, CS or related fields

- Above 3 years work experience MS or 5 years above BS.

- Knowledge of multimedia technology, such as video/audio codec, media container formats, media streaming etc.

- Knowledge of TCP/IP and network programming

- Strong communications capability

- Fluent in English (spoken and written)

- Experience with C/C++, JAVA programming and debugging

- Experience for OpenMax/Gstreamer or other multimedia framework

- Experience for Android native layer multimedia framework

- Experience with Linux kernel and driver development
