Software Engineer Department: Video Location: Shanghai Job description: Responsible for designing, developing and debugging graphics driver in android and linux; improve graphics performance on upcoming GPUs by analyzing performance issues in software drivers and applications, implementing software performance improvements, and recommending future hardware & software improvements. Your responsibilities will include (but not be limited to): -porting and refining gpu driver, developing display driver, android graphics HAL module, graphics API and kinds of graphics software; -debug and fix all kinds of graphics issues, from application to lowlevel platform driver; -Works with hardware team, linux&&bootloader team, android framework team and multimedia team to provide stable&&fast graphics system; -support different customer for graphics API using, graphics application debugging, graphics performance tuning. Qualification: - Master degree in Electrical Engineering/Computer Science, or Bachelor degree with 2+ years work experience; - Skilled in C/C++ programming; - Familiar with embedded system, 1+ years working with Linux system; - Some knowlege of compute graphics, 2D/3D graphics. - Good written and oral communications skills in English The candidates meet following items as below will be preferred - experienced in android development; - knowledge of android graphics(android view system/HWUI/Skia/SurfaceFlinger/gralloc/hwcomposer...) - familiar with opengles 1.1/2.0 and egl programming or knowledge of opengles 2.0 pipeline; - familiar with DirectFB programming or DirectFB porting; - experienced in linux kernel driver development, familiar with programming in linux kernel; Job title:
