Candidate Responsibilities:
• Understand in-depth the Greater China RFss markets – customer base, applications, value chain, price trends, market and technology trends, competition
• Develop a measurable and executable market penetration and engagement plan and be able to execute to high levels of completion
• Have a thorough understanding of RF technologies and the key applications and be able to position NXP’s products in the market from the applications perspective
• Have a thorough understanding of market pricing and be able to price position products to maximize NXP margins and/or market share growth; responsible in many occasions for preparing for, and conducting price negotiations, as well as to develop & execute marketing programs
• Already have, and able to further develop, strong relationships with key customers and able to promote NXP as the premier RFss solutions provider to those companies
• Roadmaps – will provide key inputs into NXP’s RFss roadmap development and NXP’s RFss portfolio with the Business Line
• Strong ability to identify new RFss markets and applications, development of business cases and customer request specifications
• Play a leadership role in driving distribution engagement and penetration through the channel partners into the RFss space in Greater China segment
• Work with and agree on the annual market share, revenue growth and design-win targets with NXP management and then execute to deliver the results
• Act as the primary interface between the BL and the Greater China Market for BL specific segment (Multi-Market & New Business Development)
• Train, support and guide the sales team where necessary
Candidate Profile:
• who has worked extensively within the China customer base in the RF multi-market segments for at least 10 years.
• They will be highly driven and self-motivated, able to work independently as well as within a team
• They will be self-starters showing strong initiative, creativity and resourcefulness
• They will have a strong technical background and a formal education (e.g. EE). An MBA would be an added benefit.
• Will be comfortable in a project driven environment where results must be delivered by strict deadlines.
• Good analytical ability and able to develop data based plans and execute these to very high levels of completion and quality
• They will already be known within the big 4 distribution network and will have an extensive network of contacts
• They will have extensive experience in managing and driving the distribution channels
• They will be well connected and have extensive contacts in the RF ss customer base in Greter China
• Strong preference will be given to individuals who can demonstrate team leadership abilities
• Personality: A networker and relationship builder who is especially adept at dealing with engineers, engineering managers, procurement and senior managers in the targeted companies
• Well organized and highly structured. They will easily be able to develop a clear, concise marketing/attack plan and drive it through execution
• Proven marketing leadership skills
• Very confident and able to handle themselves well in any context – e.g. customer management and NXP executive/senior management
• Must be a team player who can reach out to the sales, marketing and distribution team to get support and sell his product and market vision
• Possess strategic skills, helicopter view and stakeholder alignment
• Probably early to mid 40’s given the experience and level of person we are looking for
• Chinese with very good written, speaking and presentation skills in both Mandarin and English
• Based in Shenzhen, but must be able to travel extensively within China and Taiwan
