Power Architect

NVIDIA has a world class teamworking on optimizing power consumption of all our chip products. We arelooking for talents who have passions in this field.

Job Description:

-Design, verify, analyze and optimize the state-of-the-art GPU andTegra ASIC for low power consumption to obtain high perf/Watt;

-Evaluate System on Chip (SOC) power, and also design powerutilization hardware features

-Compare power in different fabrication processes, voltage levels,and use cases.

-Provide prediction of power modeling for the chip with or withoutsome power features;

-Evaluate the existing power saving features and propose new onesto improve power saving efficiency;

-Spec out the details for the new feature, work with design teamto get these features implemented,
workwith verification team to get these features fully verified.

Requirements:

-BS/MS Degree majoring in EE or relevant areas with experience indesign, verification or methodology development;

-Deep understanding of RTL design and verification;

-Strong problem solving skills, and excellent analysis capability;

-Proactive and persistent, willing to work on open ended issues;

-Experience in low power design is a plus;

-Power and/or performance modeling and architectural studiesexperience. (Plus)

-Strong Perl scripting skills and C++ programming; (Plus)

-Good communication skills, excellent oral and verbal English
