NO.232-Staff Characterization Engineer

In this position, the individual will be in charge of the test development of NAND memory test characterization using Nextest ATE test systems and handler. This includes some aspects of test debug, validation and correlation. Perform AC/DC and logic/data sheet characterization across process, operating voltage and temperature. This individual will do the low yield analysis on issues pertaining to design marginality. Support System Engineering with failures of Card qualification. Deliver the formal characterization report. In this position, the individual will do some training at the junior engineers and lead the Characterization test in the new projects.

• Require 8+ years of experiences in
the area of NVM product development.
• Require a BSEE degree, master is preferred, with an emphasis on solid state device fundamental and analysis.
• Major in Microelectronics/ Test& Measurement/ Electro-communication
• Prefer good problem solving skills.
• Prefer good understanding of NAND basic logic operations, AC timings, DC parametric, and NAND Flash interface protocol.
• Require familiarity with common lab equipment such as digital scope, logic analyzer, V/I sources…
• Some exposure with electrical/physical failure analysis technique is preferable.
• Require good interaction skills with other groups.
• Require excellent written and verbal communication skills.
