NO.122-Director China Operations（Shanghai）

Purpose: To provide on-site senior level management to the China based xx employees. Position will be based in Shanghai but will also have leadership impact on Shenzhen team.
Provides day to day direction, problem resolution, managerial guidance and support for all China employees. Is the point person (central point of contact) for communication to functional leaders in the US and India facilities on resource planning, project status, budgets, IT and Facility needs.
Encourages and facilitates communication of china based engineers with team in US and India.
Working closely with local HR, Finance staff to ensure smooth flow of information to US counterpart and leaders. Attention put to accuracy of data and identification of any issues. Participate in problem resolution. Focus on talent retention and recruiting. Keep abreast of employee morale and continue to build a positive work culture.
Develops and expands customer relationships, works closely with Business Development team to make regional business introductions and/or expand business opportunities in the region.
Background:
Experienced leader with proven record of effective staff management and team building
Strong general management expertise, with experience leading technical teams
Prior experience in business development and customer relations
Prior successful experience in the semiconductor industry and in a fast paced working environment preferred-public company experience required – Sytems experience highly preferred.
Experience in project management in a matrix structure
Familiarity with disciplines of Finance, HR and IT – some experience in oversight of these functions preferred
Proven ability to effectively communicate verbally and in writing in English and Chinese. Past success in motivating and inspiring employees
