Digital Design Engineer-Shanghai Job Responsibilities Working with an Architecture/Algorithm Development Team to finalize system architecture for optimal implementation of digital signal processing algorithms, including architectural definition and tradeoffs, die size, power estimation. Skill required: Digital logic design, verilog coding, logic synthesis, both RTL and gate level verification, formal verification and static timing analysis. Work in a co-design environment by providing specifications to IO and package designers. Develop IP implementation guidelines based on feasibility analysis and support internal design teams. Provide complete application support to customers by providing SI Kits, Timing Budgets and System Design Application Notes. Sr. Verification Engineer –Shanghai Job Responsibilities Duties will include working with a Verification Team to develop reusable block and system level verification environment using high level verification language to support ASIC development. Review RTL architectural and implementation specifications. Develop test plan, create stimulus drivers, monitors, reference models, scoreboards, protocol checkers to verify function and performance of advanced multiprotocol networking ASICs. Define and develop application tests required to verify ASICs meet functional and performance goals. Define and implement functional coverage plans. Define and implement code coverage plans. Develop testing and regression methodologies for new verification flow. Coordinate test plan implementation and regressions with remote team. Unix & CAD Tools Administrator Job Description In this position, you will be working in IT department in an international corporate as a Unix system administrator and EDA tools support expert. The ideal candidate needs to follow IC design customers work, familiar with the simulation jobs feature, trouble shoot the problems from Cad Tools and ICDS environment. Candidates must have a deep understanding of EDA tools and applications, be clear on the flow of IC design work and the requirement for IT engineering infrustructure in each phase. As a Unix administrator, you will handle day to day support on enterprise NIS/LDAP environment, managing compute farms of ~100 Linux servers, support NFS/CIFS applications on NAS/SAN storage, perform backup and restore activities. You will also work with global team to support both China and other sites, deploying global standards to China. You are expected to work as a bridge between IC design customers and IT support team Requirements/Qualifications (Education) - +3 years experience of UNIX and Linux systems administration, strong experience in managing +100 servers with OS provisioning, system patching/upgrade, firmware upgrade etc. - Familiar with NIS/LDAP mixed enterprise environment, NFS/CIFS setup and trouble shooting. - Understand enterprise NAS/SAN storage architecture and configuration, experience on Netapp/EMC NAS/SAN storage will be an advantage. Hands-on experience on Veritas Netbackup. - Demonstrable scripting/programming and debugging skills in at least perl and Unix shells. - Experience on LSF or other grid computing systems will be a plus. - Strong knowledge and deep understanding of IC design flow and tools (Candence, Mentor, Sysnopsys etc).
