Stephen H. Lewis (S’85–M’88–SM’97–F’01)
received the B.S. degree from Rutgers University, New Brunswick, NJ, in 1979, the M.S. degree from Stanford University, Stanford, CA, in 1980, and the Ph.D. degree from the University of California, Berkeley, in 1987, all in electrical engineering. From 1980 to 1982, he was with Bell Laboratories, Whippany, NJ, where he was involved in circuit design for magnetic recording. In 1988, he rejoined Bell Laboratories, Reading, PA, where he concentrated on the design of analog-to-digital converters. In 1991, he joined the Department of Electrical and Computer Engineering, University of California, Davis, where he is now a Professor. He is a coauthor of a college textbook on analog integrated circuits, and his research interests include data conversion, signal processing, and analog circuit design.
