Work with key xx and industry technologist to ensure that China Design Centers have the appropriate skills and capabilities to support a complete "development center" strategy (including overseeing the significant expansion of lab and application engineering capabilities).
Assist in creating actionable development plans for design center engineering personnel. Provide mentorship to design center employees at all levels in the organization.
Management and coordination of the operational engineering work in both Beijing and Shanghai.
Understand xx product line business requirements (vis-?vis the China market). Close coordination with other design center activities in Japan, Korea, and India.
Have a firm understanding of Chinese business trends and where xx can add value by having a local design presence.
Seasoned management professional with a proven track record to in building high performing engineering teams.
10+ years of experience leading large multi-national design teams in the development of complex mixed-signal products for a world-wide market
BSEE minimum requirement. Advanced engineering degree preferred.
Understanding of Chinese business culture a significant plus. Chinese language skills a plus, but not required.
