AMCC的PowerPC与Freescale的PowerPC

AMCC的PowerPC与Freescale的PowerPC有什么区别么？？？我们现在在评估AMCC的PPC440EP这款，667MHz的，但觉得功耗大，外围接口不是很丰富；我们又看了看Freescale的MPC8315E这个。MPC8315E呢，就是主频低了一些，400MHz的，但外围接口丰富，扩展性好！
另外，AMCC是否主推PPC440系列的型号？至少MPC8315E对于Freescale来说是新产品！
请有用过的朋友给些建议。比如原厂的支持和态度，代理商的支持和态度等等。小弟先谢谢啦！！

AMCC出了新的PPC了----APM 83290 – The first implementations of the Titan core design. Two 1.5 GHz cores with FPU, 512 kB shared L2 cache, DDR2 controller, security engine, multi-channel DMA and I/O engine for gigabit Ethernet, PCIe, USB, RapidIO and/or SATA. AMCC的405、440应该是用的IBM的IP，Freescale的实力还是强一些。

    任何一个CPU只要能满足你的应用需要就可以，不是说功能越多越好，功能越多说明成本越高，在量产的时候会觉得成本太高。
