1. Power management: Bandgap, LDO, Charge pump, DC-DC converter,etc.
2. Analog / Digital interface, conversion, etc.
3. Automobile: driver, motor controller, AC/DC swtiching, conversion, etc.
4. RF: Oscillators like VCO, PLL, Mixer
5. Miscellaneous: Power on reset, temperature detector, VGA, transimpedance amp, etc.
maybe more, any suggestion is welcomed

In summary: Anything that is not pure digital is analog!!!!!!!!!!!!!
