AnalogIC Design Engineer for Computing Power Management (located in Shenzhen) RoleSummary Design themost advanced integrated analog and mixed signal power management IC forcomputing power management market. PrimaryResponsibility ¨
Development of state-of-art power managementutilizing leading edge BiCMOS/DMOS technologies. ¨
Responsible for the entire productdevelopment process, being involved in product definition, circuit implementation,simulation, and debug, as well as playing an advisory role in IC layout andfloor plan, and test development, characterization and reliability. ¨
Cost effective designs in a production environment completed in a timely manner is the ultimate goal on every project. ¨
Products cover a wide range of circuit typesallowing a large breadth of technical knowledge to be gained. Secondaryresponsibility ¨
Work with systems and applications engineersto define cost effective, creative solutions that meet time to marketrequirements. ¨
Design to IC specifications based on customerand market requirements. ¨
Responsible for the design schedule, cost andperformance goals. ¨
Support test engineering and productionrelease team for ramp to production. ¨
Provide a robust, reliable, high performancedesign and layout that meets specified performance criteria within thespecified project schedule. ¨
Interaction with Product, Systems,Application and Test engineering during the evaluation phase.
Requiredbasic Qualifications: ¨
MSEE with analog-mixed signal IC design inBiCMOS process for a minimum 3 years experience. ¨
High current and low current designs, opamps,gm/voltage amps, comparators, gate drivers, oscillators, high speed levelshifters, current limit, LDO, NVM, power LDMOS design, and basic digital logicdesign. ¨
Understand the BICMOS process, devicephysics, and power electronics. Skilled with SPICE, Cadence AnalogArtist/Virtuoso/Silicon Ensemble design. Teamand people skills: ¨
The ideal candidate should be able to workeffectively in a team environment, leading the development team as needed toaccomplish the new product goals. Character and team building skills are essential to enabling on time delivery of IC’s. ¨
Sharing information and mentoring otherdesigners less skilled or knowledgeable is a must. |
