POSITION:

Design Supervisor LPDCDC

DEPARTMENT:

Low Power DCDC, Advanced Low Power Solutions

ROLE SUMMARY:

For its Shanghai design team Low Power DCDC is looking for a highly motivated and independent supervisor who is interested to work with one of the most experienced high-performance analog IC design teams within TI. We offer a much diversified environment with teams located in Shanghai, Helsinki and Freising. The candidate has the opportunity to grow his outstanding technical and personal leadership skills through developing the talents within the team and the execution of leading-edge switched mode power supplies.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:

·
Develop and manage talent in the Low Power DCDC layout team

·
Collaborate closely with customers, systems and product test engineers in order to define product specifications and ensure manufacturability of the devices

·
Develop new competitive circuit topologies for synchronous DCDC converter

·
Design, verify and debug analog/design circuits by using state of the art BICMOS process technologies

·
Monitor and coach IC layout

QUALIFICATIONS:

A successful candidate will offer the following:

·
Master degree or equivalent in electrical engineering or similar field

·
5+ years of professional IC design experience

·
Broad experience in the design of DCDC converters with a proven track record

·
Demonstrated leadership as a team lead in similar functions

·
Excellent knowledge in control theory, semiconductor technology, and ESD protection

·
Team player, capable of effectively interacting with and leveraging multiple teams - both international and cross functional - with the appropriate cultural sensitivity in order to complete objectives

·
Good English in word and writing
