System Validation Manager
Job Summary

Responsibilities
1. Build and manage a team to validate the implementation of full solutions provided by our Programmable Logic Products. This will include developing designs in the Lattice Diamond Software Suite, incorporating IP Products, completing Simulation of Performance, and building a suitable Hardware Test Environment to validate performance under Customer Use Conditions
2. Work closely with Lattice End Customers to understand System Validation and Verification Testing Requirements, and incorporate these requirements into test and validation routines prior to product release to market
3. Work closely with the Lattice Field Applications Engineering and Factory Applications Engineering Teams to resolve complicated Customer Applications Issues
4. Interface with Software, IP and Silicon Solutions Development Teams to coordinate System Validation activities, ensure thorough validation of New Product Platforms, and feedback customer and field issues to drive Continuous Improvement in the R&D Group
Qualifications
1. B.S. / M.S. Electrical Engineering Degree
2. 10+ Years of experience developing Telecom System Solutions using FPGA Products
3. 2+ Years of management experience
4. VHDL and Verilog experience
5. Direct hands-on experience with High Speed I/O, SERDES, High Speed Clocking, and other System Design and Development Issues
6. Ability to design and develop system boards for high speed communication chic-to-chip and across backplanes
7. Demonstrated ability to take a High Performance System Solution through Validation and Characterization, including debug and failure analysis, and manufacturing release to the market
8. Must be detail oriented with strong customer service skills
9. Strong written and verbal communication skills and the ability to work with multiple groups
10. Strong English language speaking and writing skills
11. Ability to travel to US / International locations
12. Experience providing direction to employees according to established policies and management guidance
13. Experience administering company policies that directly affect subordinate employees
