Test Integration Optimization Engineer
Location: Zhuhai /Shenzhen
Job Description
Your responsibilities will include but not be limited to: Maintain testing processes, equipment and software to test disk array products in a manufacturing environment. Driving testing cycle time reduction. Work with TDE/design community to maintain/implement appropriate test methods in production. Provide support to technical staff in determining root cause of system failures and driving appropriate corrective action through test enhancements, design changes or process modification to prevent defects in disk array components. Also provide guidance to design community (software and hardware) on Design for Manufacturability (DFM) and Design for Testability (DFT) and Built-in Self Test (BIST) as well as maintaining and promoting test strategy development consistent with technology changes. The ideal candidate will have 5 or more years of experience in the following areas: 1. Use of oscilloscopes, logic analyzers and bus dis-assemblers. 2. Software maintenance/development in Java, 'C' or C++ for PC, Unix and Intel microprocessors 3. Microsoft Office suite of PC applications - primarily Excel and Word 4. Manufacturing assembly and test methods. 5. Knowledge of disk drive technology and operation, specifically Fiber Channel devices and SAS / SATA devices 6. International travel required.
Specific Knowledge/Experience
(1) BS Computer Eng, Electrical Eng, or Computer Science.
(2) 5+ years experience in engineering, manufacturing test development, or related position for storage controllers, servers, or similar systems.

(3) Experience with being able to remotely address and coordinate test releases, issues or NPI (New Product Introduction) in cooperation with outsourced design suppliers and Contract Manufacturers (CM's) preferred
(4) Experience with and knowledge of server architecture, CPUs, memories, PCI bus, I2C bus, serial I/F, Ethernet I/F, and storage IO I/Fs (e.g. SAS, iSCSI, FC).
(5) Knowledge & experience of the Linux OS and programming experience in C and C++ required and Java is preferred.

(6) Experience in maintaining/optimizing diagnostics and test functions for HW listed above.
(7) Excellent written and verbal communications skills in English and Chinese. (8) Good problem solving and process troubleshooting skills
