Director of Production based in Taiwan for xx Technologies, a leading supplier of end-to-end connectivity solutions for data center servers and storage systems. xx's InfiniBand adapters and switch solutions demonstrate the highest growth on the TOP500 in the last two years, with 28 percent annual growth. Responsibilities:

1. The Director of Production will develop new manufacturing board/system capabilities in China (Shanghai and Shenzhen areas), while communicating in real time with teams in Israel;

2. Additionally, the candidate will need to build an infrastructure for IC manufacturing management by forging close relations with key suppliers in Taiwan (Hsinchu / Kaohsiung) and Japan;

3. The candidate will be responsible for building a supplier management infrastructure involving direct reporting and analysis of supply chain elements, product engineering, and related issues. Evaluate suppliers, collect information for evaluation;

4. As the coordinator between Design House & Foundry, monitoring the Project Tapeout, wafer fabrication. The candidate will work closely with the Director of IC Manufacturing and with the Director of Product Engineering.

5. This is a new position requiring initiative and independence, and the candidate will see the direct results of his work. This position represents the seed of a growing international team, and therefore also provides an opportunity for advancement and professional development. Director of Production reports to Vice President of Manufacturing.

Requirements:
- Resident of Taiwan, willing to travel to mainland China
- Fluent in local language (Chinese Mandarin)
- Excellent English (speaking, reading, and writing)
- Experience in manufacturing (5-10 years), Familiarity with foundries, test and assembly houses is required.
-Ideally someone who has built the operations from scratch and be able to interact closely with subcontractors.
- Professional, driven, and with strong interpersonal skills
