我用的是ubuntu10.10 不确定是系统的问题还是怎么还是，现在安装都正常了，就是最后的licence一直启动不了
求解决办法

你确定你的license是可以用的吗？  不建议使用ubuntu,建议使用redhat试一试

根据楼主贴出来的文字看，有如下问题，可以对照试试：
一、楼主的license server manager (lmgrd)文件是超户权限运行或者lmgrd文件是超户权限，结果：
    1、导致lmgrd运行之后产生的临时文件（tmp目录下）不能用一般用户访问修改；
    2、lmgrd不能初始化；
    3、很多EDA工具不能运行在超户账号下（因为超户权限太大），通常运行在一般账户，bashrc或者cshrc都可以（最后一句明显告诉楼主，你用的是超户）；
二、服务器的server没有启动起来，通常是：
    1、端口号不对应；
    2、主机名不对应或者不识别，主机名最好简单一些；
三、license的feature问题，确认license文件中有没有该工具的feature参数，以前在RedHat和Suse系统中使用过该工具，具体是哪几个feature，现在不记得了，如果需要，我找找看；
四、ubuntu系统没有用过，但是lnx86的EDA工具，从2003到2009版的Cadence、Synopsys和Mentor的很多EDA工具，我在Suse和RedHat系统中都安装成功过，唯一的区别是，Suse系统下部分EDA工具可能找不到库文件或者搜索不到路径，解决办法是用“ln -s”命令进行链接操作即可。

之前也跟你一樣的情況，最後發現是license有問題
如果你確定你的設定都沒有錯的話可以試試以下：
請在EFA LicGen 0,4b\packs以及Synopsys SSS Feature Keygen裡
找到synopsys.src並打開編輯(二個都要)
加入此大大所發之安裝詳解內之附錄
就是

另外也記得不論是redhat或ubuntu請在終端機內執行gedit .bashrc
然後在後面加入：
/usr/synopsys/SCL/and64/bin/lmgrd -c /usr/synopsys/license/synopsys.dat –l /synopsys/license/license.log
(上面的路徑請自已改成自已安裝後的路徑，若你的license是synopsys.dat則後面license.log改成synopsys.log)

注意：編輯時不要清空原本檔案內之編碼(會出現錯誤)，直接在最後面插入就可以了

超級難搞

超级用户没有问题，只是不推荐，看提示是不能建立临时文件.flexlm,估计你没有/usr/tmp这个目录，先建一个，然后它就可以去建立子目录了
