question:How to generate a floating license for s_ tools version 0809 and above

As you know that, we can use EFA04b version to generate a node-locked license for synopsys tools.
But if you want to generate a license with floating, which means that with one machine starts the license, the other machine can also use it.
From the version 2008.09, there seems to be some difference on the license file, for the old ones can not be used for the new version.Of course, if you use node-locked mode license, the tools can run on the machine that has started the license.
Maybe there are some change on the license syntax, which results in the old license files can not be used for new version tools.
So does anybody use the EFA version 04b to generated a floating license which can be used for s tools version 2008.09 amd above?

BTW, if you want to generate a floating license file, you just need to remove the "%h" in the SRC file and then use the normal way to generate the license file.
In that way, the machines can share the same environent settings on the license.

Sort of....  It seems to be a floating license at first.  However, it can be verified by sclsh that features can't be actually checked out.
