Responsibilities:

1.Be responsible for block specificationand architecture design,  RTLimplementation

2. Develop and execute thorough block levelsimulations and assist lab verification (FPGA)

3. Prepare detailed block level designdocuments

4. Assist embedded firmware engineers forfirmware development and system verification

Requirements:

Experience/Skills:

1.MSEE with above 3 years or BSEE withabove 5 years experience on digital communication designs;

2.Strong knowledge in wired or wirelesscommunication. Development experience of MAC for Wi-Fi (e.g. 802.11b/g) ishighly preferred;

3.Familiar with other communicationstandards, such as Bluetooth, Zigbee baseband is a big plus;

4. Good knowledge in ARM/DSP, AHB/APB busis desirable;

5.Strong analytical and problem solvingskills;  hands-on lab debugging skillsare required for senior position;

6.Knowledge of languages relevant to theASIC development process including Shell Scripting, Perl and Tcl is strongplus;

7.Good communication skills in writingtechnical documents and reports;

8. Self-motivated and ability to excel in ateam environment;
