Job Title: Software QA Engineer

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

• Ensure system software (BIOS, Driver &     Firmware, etc.) to be tested properly and delivered to customer and     internal engineering teams on time.
• Develop manual and automated test suites     to ensure compliance to product specification and adequate test coverage.
• Execute test plans, analyze test results     and drive issues to closure.
• Work closely with product development     teams to understand product requirements and provide feedback on the     architecture and designs.
• Identify and Investigate defects, provide     diagnostic support to customers and internal engineering teams.

REQUIREMENTS

• B.Sc. or M.Sc. In EE or CS or equivalent     is required
• Good written and verbal communication     skills in both Mandarin and English

EXPERIENCE AND SKILLS

• A minimum of 3 years’ experience on     software QA or Validation.
• Solid understanding of software quality     assurance and testing methodologies and be able to think independently and     solve complex problems.
• Excellent debugging, problem solving,     pattern recognition mentality and analytical skills.
• Knowledge of PC products (CPU/GPU/APU,     motherboard…) and peripherals (DIMM, Hard Disk, Monitor, SD, SATA, USB….).
• Hands-on experience with x86 silicon,     platform or software validation is preferred.
• Experience in Linux and Windows     environment.
• Decode & encode knowledge is a big     plus.
• Proficient in scripting languages     (Perl, Python, etc.) for test automation development is a plus.
• Quick learning and self-motivated.
• Good team player and willing to work     overtime and under pressure.
