HSPICE
Originally commercialized by Shawn and Kim Hailey of Meta Software,
Then Avanti acquired Meta Software,
Then Synopsys acquired Avanti.
After all, now HSPICE was owned by Synopsys.
HSPICE is mainly used for simulation of internal circuit of integrated circuit.
Though it can also be used board level circuits too.
PSPICE was developed by MicroSim.
Then OrCAD acquired MicroSim.
Then Cadence acquired OrCAD.
After all, now PSPICE was owned by Cadence.
PSPICE is mainly used for simulation of board level circuits.
Though it can also be used for simple internal circuit of integrated circuit. |
