Job Title: Silicon Validation/Application Engineer

Description:

SiliconValidation Engineering group for Read Channels is responsible for validatingall read channel devices designed by Marvell. The activities also includeperformance measurement and automation of the tools used for validating theread channel. The group is also responsible for the hardware and softwaredesign of all tools required for the above two activities.

Qualifications:

B.S.E.E + 2year experience or M.S.E.E + 0 years.

Experienceworking in an IC testing environment with equipment such as Oscilloscopes andAWG's is desired but not required.

Proficiencywith Matlab or Python is desired but not required.

Directexperience with Read Channels and hard disk drives is desired, but notrequired.

Responsibility:

- Design andexecute system level tests for complex mixed signal ICs using standard testequipment such as Oscilloscopes, network analyzers, etc.

- Work withdesigners to debug, understand and document new designs.

Providetechnical documentation, descriptions and information to Field ApplicationEngineers, Test Engineers and customers.

- Write andmaintain software used to automate bench testing. This is done in the MATLABenvironment for now; may move to other tools in future.

- Generateprofessional validation reports and comparative performance analysis of theread channel devices.

- Work withDSP and design teams to find the best optimization procedures for Marvell readchannel products.

- Make surewe can showcase the best read channel performance on customer drives.
