1. Senior Member of Technical Staff - Computational Engineering

Position Description

1. The position is responsible fordesigning, implementing and maintaining software and algorithms related toadvanced analysis and simulation tools used in the development of VLSI circuitsand RF communication systems.

2. The engineer will be responsible forleading multiple development efforts through the complete design cycle andworking with a cross-functional team to ensure the software is tested,integrated and documented.

Position Requirements:

1. Skilled in C++ programming, familiar with development under Linux/Unixenvironment;

2. Good English communication skills both verbal and written

3. Good problem solving skill and ability to work in a team environment

4. MS or above in electrical,mechanical, or computer engineering; computer science, or appliedmathematics.  Candidate should have abackground in numerically-intensive computational algorithms.

5. Background in one or more of thefollowing areas is highly

desirable:  VLSI circuit simulation, computationalelectromagnetic, parallel numerical algorithms, spectral methods for solutionof ordinary and partial differential equations, numerical linear algebra,computational fluid mechanics, finite element analysis, computationalmechanics.

6. Exposure to analog, RF or microwave circuit fundamentals is a strongplus.

PositionDescription:

1. Theposition is for analog circuit simulation engineer responsible for designing,implementing and maintaining device compact models in SPICE-like circuitsimulation software for use with analog, RF and mixed signal circuitsimulators.

2. Theengineer will be responsible for leading multiple development efforts throughthe development process, including writing specifications based on marketingand product requirements,  designing andimplementing product improvements and fixes, and working with across-functional team to ensure the software is tested, integrated anddocumented.

3. Theengineer must be proficient in C/C++ Unix development, and have a thoroughknowledge of device physics, device compact models. The engineer must have aproven ability to learn from and work with an engineering and cross-functionalteam to deliver innovative products in a production environment.

2.Familiar with matrix solver & mathematic calculation;

3.Familiar with Spice, Spectre format & usage;

4.Skilled in C++ programming, familiar with development under Linux/Unixenvironment;

Fast SPICE

Description:

1. Thisis a software engineer position for Cadence Spectre XPS product. Spectre XPS isa new fastSPICE simulator which delivers up to 10X faster simulationthroughput, and has high visibility among the company.

2. In thisposition you will need to design, implement and troubleshoot Spectre XPS.

3. Youwill also need to understand customer requirements, define functionalspecifications, debug customer cases and investigate simulation algorithms.

4. Youshould be able to work independently and communicate with colleagues andcustomers.

Position Requirements:

1. MSmajored in CS/EE or related, or BS with 3+ years of relevant experience.

2.Strong C/C++ programming skills under Linux/Unix environment.

3. Solidunderstanding of data structures and algorithms; understanding of graph andnumerical algorithms is a plus.

4.Knowledge on semiconductor devices and circuits and SPICE simulators is astrong plus.

5. Goodproblem solving skills and strong desire to learn new techniques.

6. GoodEnglish communication skills both verbally and writing and team working spirit.
