Description

We are looking for a solid senior PlatformValidation Engineer to ensure the world-class design quality of Intel serverproducts. In this position, you will be leading the platform validation ofIntel server boards and system ingredients, delivering the validation designand issue resolution from the expertise, investigating next-generation servertechnologies, designing & implementing solid validation solutions per platformlevel with best sense of QA philosophy, and ensuring highest-qualitydeliverables to the market. Your responsibilities will include but not belimited to:

Playing the crucial role as quality holder in product developmentteam to ensure product quality by supplying solid data of board- andsystem-level and performance test.

Collaborating with HW/SW/System architects and engineers, variousvalidation disciplines, and worldwide marketing teams for constant improvementof validation test philosophy and methodology;

Being responsible for training and educating junior validationengineers and help to create a positive and precise atmosphere withinvalidation team;

Qualifications

Candidate should possess a Master or aBachelor degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering or ElectronicsEngineering, with at least 5 years of experience on software development orvalidation. Additional qualifications include:

Good understanding (and better hands-on development/validationexperience) of Operating System, driver and popular server/PC technologiesincluding PCI/PCI-E, USB, SAS/SATA, i2C/SMBUS, IPMI, BIOS/EFI and DIMM, etc;

Proven capability to debug & troubleshoot complex HW/SWissues related to BIOS, OS, Hardware, as well as Hardware-Software interaction;

Demonstrated capability to start with use case/experience oftechnical features, develop technical solutions to validate features, andensure the final high-quality to the market;

Demonstrated capability to work within a team environment facingfast-changing requirements and complicated stakeholders.
