Product Development Candidates

Looking for dynamic and proactive mindset with ‘can do’ attitude

1. Work on new product development projects liaising with Production, Raw Material Purchasing,Product Research, Marketing and other related departments
2. Work closely with QA and Manufacturing team in setting quality standards and continuously improving existing product quality
3. Proactively lead in raw material efficiency projects and coordinate with procurement to develop new raw material sources and go through test run qualifications with manufacturing team
4. Direct experience with hygienic products such as fem care or baby/adult incontinence industry is preferred, otherwise other industrial  experience is also acceptable

Details:
1. Project Management as per below: (Plan, Drive, Execute, Monitor, Improve)项目管理
a. New Product Development projects, from drafting of product specifications and BOM, selection of raw material, product costing analysis, running trial samples, lab test validation, coordination with technical and engineering team on validation of production trial run
b. Product improvement projects such as change of raw material, specifications or product design
c. Drafting of product and packaging specification, standards and tolerance limits
2. Interface with:  工艺、质量、采购、市场、调研、财务的配合
a. Process Engineering, Technical Team: on machine qualification of new raw materials, running product samples for consumer testing, validation of production trial run, etc
b. Quality Team: performing competitor lab reports, fabrication of NPD prototypes, running lab tests on all NPD and product improvement projects
c. Regional Purchasing: product costing details, selection of raw material, ordering and tracking arrival of sample raw materials, and updating each other on the progress of all projects at hand
d. Marketing Team:
i. Understand market requirements for new products or product improvements
ii.  supporting them on product  and packaging design such as providing technical support on dimensions and parameters ( such as PE, frontal loop, packaging)
e. Marketing Research: Validation of product samples/prototypes through consumer panel tests, etc
f. Finance:  continuously updating them on product specifications and BOM as well as exchange information on raw material costing
3. To keep abreast of competition and the market – to be up to date and informed on
a. our competitors advancements in product design and performance (internal and third party lab tests, market reports, etc)
b. developments in market segmentation and trends in local and regional markets (syndicated market data, internal marketing research data)
4. Others:
a. For your products being managed:
i. e the centre of control for product specifications and tolerance, performance targets and tolerance and BOM (Bill of Materials)
ii. Be the centre of product costing analysis
iii. Liaise with raw material and/or other technical suppliers as and when necessary for project purposes
iv. Generate and improve product development process guidelines and protocols
v. Support QA and Production/Technical team in ensuring the quality consistency of all DSG products, setting up/improving lab testing procedures, and any other product related requests
vi. Be involved in the follow up of Consumer Complaints, ensuring thorough and rigid follow through in improvement measures as per timeline
vii. Supervise PD lab team in executing jobs to support your role as and when needed
