Job Description – Sr Windows Administrator

Rapidly growing profitable pre-IPO fabless semiconductor company with Tier 1 customers seeks a Sr Windows Administrator.
This position reports to IT Director and is responsible for managing all IT infrastructure of all the offices worldwide.

Duties and Responsibilities:

Setup Active directory for the Santa Clara and Beijing

Manage and handle all IT tickets

Setup environment for ERP and CRM

Manage network requirements of all the offices

Setup environment for single sign on all the servers in the office

Move servers from Local Server room to Data Center

Handle Day to Day issues for Desktops users

Required Knowledge and Skills:

Sr
Windows Administrator

6+ years enterprise experience of system administration of the Microsoft windows operating systems, specifically with Windows Server 2003, 2008, experience with 2012 a plus

Solid understanding both technically and functionally of AD 2008, DNS, DHCP & WINS integration, Group Policy, Security (including SID, GUID, permissions & NTFS)

Strong PowerShell Scripting skills

In-depth knowledge of server build automation tools (such as Microsoft Deployment Tool)

Experience supporting a 24x7 high-availability production environment including Microsoft 2008 Clustering

Technical hands on experience of VMware VShpere 5.1 virtualization technology and implementation/Windows Hyper virtual setup

Knowledge of Netapp Storage technology

Experience in managing windows print and file services.

Knowledge of UNIX Operating Systems desirable

Hands on working in Data Center

Hands on setting up Monitoring servers

Other

Bachelor's Degree in IT

Excellent written and oral communication skills a must

Ability to work independently, as well as part of a global support team

Experience of working with cross-geographic teams

Organized, responsible and highly detailed problem solver

This job requires some travel to overseas offices
