JobDescription:

Marvell PMIC and audio support team islooking for a staff application engineer based in Shanghai office to supportour internal and external customers in the China region in the integration ofour products into mobile platforms. Daily interaction with Marvell design teamsis expected, under the supervision of Marvell Italy PMIC/audio designapplication team. The candidate should be creative, motivated, resourceful andwith good communication skills.

Responsabilitiesinclude :

· Support the Chinese Marvell SW, HW andplatform development teams in the integration of Marvell PMICs and codecs

· Support Chinese customers using MarvellPMICs and codecs

· Collect information from internal andexternal Chinese customers to improve the features and quality of our PMIC andaudio codec product lines

· Support design and application teams infailure analysis and customer scenario debugging

· Review schematics and layout forcustomer’s products

· Contribute to the PCB board developmenteffort and lab automation for standalone PMIC/codec chip evaluation

· Contribute to the generation of testreports, application guidelines, errata/technical reports

Become the local reference in two or moreof the following areas of expertise (power management, battery charging,battery fuel gauging, audio SW/HW tuning)

Requiredskills/experience:

· Knowledge of common lab equipment anddebugging techniques

· Bachelor degree

· Good communication skills in Mandarin andEnglish

· Experience in customer support andcommunication

· 5+ years experience in one or more of thefollowing areas (design and/or support): LDOs, switching regulators, mobileplatforms, Battery charging, battery fuel gauging, audio digital processing,audio analog processing

· PCB board schematic entry and layoutexperience using stat of the art tools (Allegro, Orcad or similar)

· Availability to travel to support Chinesor Asian customers on site.

He/she will be responsibleto work with partners to make these Marvell XScale platforms to achieve themost compelling 3D/2D performance for all mainstream embedded OSes and 3D/2Dusage models.

qualifications:

-Excellent algorithm background on 2D or 3D graphics area, such as computergraphics, image processing, 3D reconstruction, etc.
-Excellent project experience on 3D/2D chipsets, either development orvalidation.
-Excellent C/C++ programming and debugging skills.
-Excellent understanding of the embedded system architecture, familiar with theembedded OS, such as WinCE/WinMobile, Linux.

The goal is to develop and/or integrate a setof multimedia technologies, including but not limited to video SW/HWencoder/decoder, multimedia framework, multimedia application etc. onto Marvell®embedded platform as a complete mobile device.

Qualifications and Responsibilities:

The qualified candidate should have Master or PhD degree in thediscipline of computer science, electronic engineering or related fields. Have2+ years of industrial multimedia/video experience, strong programming anddebugging skills and experience in embedded systems. Also requires strong communication skills, self motivation, and theability to work in a team environment.

You need co-work with other members to develop multimedia solutionon Marvell mobile platform, include developing video encoder/decoder,middleware component, integrating into android system, enhancing multimediafeature, improving system to get much better user experience and solvingcustomer issues.

Requirements:

- Extensive experience programming in C/C++

- 2+ years of multimedia development experience on embedded OS

-Solid multimedia technology knowledge, such as video/audio codec, media containerformats, media streaming etc.

- Experience for OpenMax/Gstreamer or othermultimedia framework

- Experience for Android native layer multimedia framework

- Strong communications capability

- Experience for HW video codec, will be a plus

- Be familiar with H264/H263/MPEG4/MPEG2/H265 standard, will be a plus

Qualificationsand Responsibilities:

The qualified candidate should have Master degree in thediscipline of computer science, electronic engineering or other related fields,Have 2+ years of industrial multimedia/video validation or developmentexperience, and experience in embedded systems. Also requires strong communication skills, self motivation, and theability to work in a team environment.

You need co-work with developers to define multimedia test plan,method, criteria, and analyze test result, develop and improve auto testsystem, investigate multimedia solution and quality on 3rdproduction. Your duty is to ensure Marvell multimedia solution is solid andcould meet customer’s request.

Requirements:

-Strong software background, including experience onembedded OS

-2+ years of multimedia validation/development experience on embedded OS

-Solid multimedia technology knowledge, such as video/audio codec, media containerformats, media streaming etc.

Strong testing and debugging skills in C and/or C++

- Be familiar with script language, like perl, python
