Position: System Engineer_Computing Power

Location:Shenzhen

RoleSummary:

Define and evaluate synchronous-buck controller and converter products for computingpower management market.

PrimaryResponsibility

1.  Large and small signal design knowledge of buck, boost, and other powertopologies is needed, with a deep knowledge of voltage mode, current mode, andhysteretic mode control.  

2.  Good customer interface skills to position existing products, support existingproducts with local FAE’s and customers, and define critical specifications fornew parts that meet customer’s requirements as well as business goals.

3.  During the development of the defined products, the systems engineer must beable to model critical functions through Mathcad, Verilog, or other appropriatetool, evaluate the device performance in target applications, validate theentire product operating range, and work with design to correct any issuesfound through silicon evaluation.

4.  The engineer is responsible for creation of the datasheet, defining theevaluation modules (EVMs) and design methodology, modeling the final deviceperformance, and supporting all initial customers

Qualifications

1.  Must be able to work independently as well as collaborate with internal teammembers (design, test, application, FAE) and external customers to achieve theagreed-upon business and product goals.

2.  A BSEE is mandatory, with at least 5 years of experience in power is preferred
